Individual Therapy

Room to sort it out

One on one therapy for adults who are tired of carrying everything alone in their heads.

Who it is for

This may sound familiar

Many people who reach out look capable from the outside. They hold down jobs, show up for friends, and keep the household running. Inside, it is a different picture. Some are quietly exhausted. Others feel numb, or snap at people they love and then wonder why. If any of that rings true, individual sessions give you an hour each week that belongs only to you.

  • You keep your feelings at arm's length, and letting someone in feels risky.
  • The same family dynamics keep resurfacing, sometimes across generations.
  • You feel so overwhelmed you freeze, and most days you are barely getting by.
  • Anxiety, low mood, or a big change has made ordinary life feel heavy.
  • Dating or relationships keep stirring up the same questions.

What can shift

Having someone who understands you can make it easier to put your thoughts and feelings in order. For many clients, things start to feel less paralyzing, and handling daily life becomes possible again.

No timeline is promised. We go at the speed your life allows.

How Naomi works

Plain talk, real warmth

Naomi listens closely and then tells you what she notices. She might ask which part of you wants to cancel the session, or where a certain belief first showed up. You are never pushed further than you want to go.

Her work leans on Internal Family Systems and psychodynamic ideas. In practice that means getting to know the protective habits that kept you safe once, and asking whether they still serve you now. There is humor in the room, too.

Questions

About individual therapy

I can barely keep up. Is this the right time?
Often it is exactly when people reach out. We start small and practical.
What if I don't know what to talk about?
Naomi will guide the first sessions with questions, so you don't need a plan.
Can I stop and come back later?
Yes. Many clients pause and return, and the door stays open.
