Therapy in Manhattan Beach
In-person therapy in a quiet private Manhattan Beach office, with an online option when the drive doesn't fit your week. I work with adults and couples who want time to understand what keeps repeating.
What You Bring
There is more to your week than keeping up.
Between a commute to Los Angeles, work at a South Bay aerospace or tech employer, and plans at home, there may be little room to notice how you feel. You can be dependable at work and still feel distant from your partner. In a beach city, the pressure to look relaxed can make an already full life harder to talk about.
In Person or Online
A private room, or a screen at home
I see clients in a quiet private office in Manhattan Beach. I share the exact location after our consultation, not on this site. Online sessions use secure video for clients located in California, Arizona, or Missouri. A private room and headphones help keep that conversation separate from the rest of your day. We can discuss changing formats as your schedule changes.
How I Work
We pay attention to what happens between you.
My style is direct, honest, genuine, and kind. Internal Family Systems helps us hear the part of you that pushes through and the part that feels worn out. In couples sessions, Emotionally Focused Therapy looks at the argument underneath the argument: wanting reassurance, feeling dismissed, or pulling away. Psychodynamic work connects today's reactions with earlier relationships. Narrative therapy asks which stories about yourself still fit.
Individual and Couples Therapy
Room for you, or for your relationship

Individual Therapy
Individual sessions last 45 minutes. We can talk about emotional avoidance, family expectations, and the feelings that get postponed until everything else is done.

Couples Therapy
Couples sessions last 60 minutes. I help both partners look at recurring conflict, intimacy, parenting, or the way money enters a conversation. We work as partners, not through a lecture.
