Therapy Near El Segundo
Therapy for adults and couples near El Segundo, in person in Manhattan Beach or online. A demanding aerospace, tech, or startup role can leave very little room for a different kind of conversation.
What You Bring
Being capable does not tell the whole story.
When your work rewards solving problems quickly, feelings can become another thing to manage or postpone. You may stay busy long after the workday ends, feel impatient at home, or struggle to explain what is wrong because nothing looks wrong on paper. I work with adults who notice overwork and emotional avoidance beginning to shape their relationships, not just their calendar.
In Person or Online
An office visit or a private lunch-hour call
You can see me in a private Manhattan Beach office, with the location shared after consultation. A lunch-hour individual session may fit if availability allows and you have 45 uninterrupted minutes. Secure video is available across California, Arizona, and Missouri. A desk in a shared workplace is not private enough; choose a room where your conversation cannot be overheard. Office and online formats can change as we discuss your needs.
How I Work
We do not have to turn feelings into tasks.
With Internal Family Systems, we can get curious about the part that insists you keep producing and what it fears would happen if you slowed down. Psychodynamic work helps connect that pressure with earlier expectations. Narrative therapy questions stories that tie worth to performance. In couples work, Emotionally Focused Therapy helps us hear the wish for closeness underneath frustration, defensiveness, or pulling away after a long day.
Individual and Couples Therapy
Your work matters. So does your life outside it.

Individual Therapy
Individual sessions are 45 minutes. We can talk about burnout, difficulty resting, family demands, or the difference between being competent and feeling connected to yourself.

Couples Therapy
Couples sessions run 60 minutes. Partners can bring arguments about availability, unequal responsibilities, or feeling that work gets the attention the relationship no longer receives.
