Online Therapy in Tucson
Online therapy for Tucson adults and couples, with time to look at family history and present relationships. A slower pace outside does not always mean less pressure inside.
What You Bring
Familiar roles can follow you into adulthood.
You may be living close to family and still feel unable to talk openly with them. Or distance may make every call carry more weight. A quieter rhythm can make old feelings more noticeable, not easier. I work with adults who want to understand the family roles they still carry and couples who notice those roles entering arguments about care, loyalty, or responsibility.
How Online Sessions Work
You bring the room. I bring my attention.
For online sessions, find somewhere private and use a device that supports secure video. Headphones are useful when you share a home, along with a door that keeps the conversation separate. We discuss a connection-drop plan before treatment; if needed, we try reconnecting and consider a phone backup. Each session takes place while you are in California, Arizona, or Missouri. I am licensed in California, Arizona, and Missouri.

Individual Therapy
Individual therapy lasts 45 minutes. We can explore guilt, resentment, emotional avoidance, and how to notice your own needs alongside family obligations. You decide which relationship to discuss first.

Couples Therapy
Couples therapy lasts 60 minutes. Partners can bring differences about relatives, intimacy, parenting, or how much support to give others. We make room for both histories and the relationship between you.

We look at history without making it the whole explanation.
Psychodynamic ideas help us connect reactions now with experiences in earlier relationships. Internal Family Systems gives room to the part that protects family harmony and the part that wants a boundary. Narrative work asks which inherited stories still belong to you. Emotionally Focused Therapy helps couples hear the need beneath a familiar argument. I offer observations, and you can disagree; our work is a partnership, not a lesson about your family.
