Online Therapy
Online Therapy in San Diego
For San Diego couples and young adults, including people who relocated for work or a partner's career. Online therapy leaves room to talk about what a move changes beyond your address.

What You Bring
You can choose a move and still miss what you left.
Relocating for a job or relationship can bring opportunity alongside loneliness. One partner may feel settled while the other is rebuilding work, friendships, and routine. Young adults can also find that arriving in San Diego does not resolve questions about commitment or direction. We can discuss those differences without labeling the move good or wrong.
How Online Sessions Work
The appointment can stay consistent as life changes.
We meet through secure video while you are in California, Arizona, or Missouri, in a private space with uninterrupted time. Headphones can help you hear and keep the conversation separate. If the connection fails, we reconnect and follow the phone backup discussed before care begins. I am licensed in California, Arizona, and Missouri. Tell me about travel before sessions; your physical location matters.

Couples Therapy
Couples meetings are 60 minutes. Partners can bring differences about career priorities, independence, intimacy, and family contact. We look beyond the relocation decision to your relationship.

We can hear both sides of the decision.
Narrative therapy lets us question stories about what a move should have achieved. Internal Family Systems makes room for the part that wanted change and the part that feels homesick. Psychodynamic ideas help connect current uncertainty with earlier separations or family roles. Emotionally Focused Therapy helps couples understand the interaction that develops when one person asks for reassurance and the other hears blame. I work alongside your thinking, not above it.
